Baku Maeda was born in Japan in 1974. Using illustrations, he crafts artworks with diverse approaches, whether flat or three-dimensional. In recent years, he's gained recognition for art pieces utilizing ribbons, known as "Ribbonesia," and a stamp collage project called "STAMP BY ME."

Today, BAKUMAE joins forces with the French brand blingtoy in a unique collaboration. This anticipated connection is significant as Hassane SYLLA is based in France, and BAKUMAE is in Japan—both stemming from an urban background rich in street art and cultural influences, each with its own story.
